A Note About Online Safety

Please take a moment to read this

As more of our lives move online, it has become increasingly important to pause and use a little discernment when something appears to come from someone you know or trust.

I want you to know exactly how bookings, payments and communication work here at Dragonflyinkriyation, so that you can recognise what is genuinely from me.

Your booking and payment

At present, I offer one service: 1:1 online tarot readings.

Bookings are made directly through this website, and payment is made through the website using Stripe. This is the only way I accept payment for a reading.

Important:

I will never ask you to send money to me through social media, WhatsApp, YouTube, direct messages, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or another payment method outside the booking and payment process on this website.

If someone contacts you claiming to be me and asks you to make a payment somewhere else, please pause before doing anything. Do not assume that a familiar name, photograph, profile or message means that the person is genuinely me.

How I communicate with you

I work independently and do not have a team of staff or assistants managing my online presence.

Most of the communication you receive from me will happen automatically through this website and the systems I use to operate it. Because Dragonflyinkriyation is built using Wix, some emails may therefore appear as automated Wix communications relating to your booking, appointment or other interaction with the website.

I use a Gmail account for email communication relating to my services, and the same account is used in connection with Google Meet for your reading.

I do not generally have a reason to contact clients outside of what is necessary to provide or support their booking.

Online Safety & Genuine Communications

Please don't rush

Online impersonation is becoming increasingly sophisticated, particularly as technology and artificial intelligence make it easier for people to imitate another person's appearance, voice, writing style or online presence.

You don't need to be frightened by this. But it is worth being thoughtful.

If you receive a message, link, payment request or offer that seems unusual, unexpected or simply doesn't feel quite right, take a moment before clicking, replying or sending anything.

Check where it has come from. Consider whether you were expecting the message. And, if you're unsure, you are always welcome to check with me directly.

If you're ever unsure

The safest place to begin is always this website.

If you are unsure whether a message, account, payment request or other communication genuinely came from me, please do not send money or personal information until you have checked.

You can contact me through the Contact link on this website, which will take you to my contact form. I will do my best to clarify the situation and support you in whatever way I reasonably can.

A final note

I put a great deal of care and attention into how I show up online and how I provide my services. At the same time, I am one person running a small independent practice. I do not have a team of people monitoring the internet on my behalf or policing every platform for impersonation or fraudulent activity.

For that reason, I encourage you to approach the online world from a place of prudence rather than fear.

You don't need to become suspicious of everything you see. Simply pause, check, and give yourself enough time to make a considered decision.

And remember: if you are booking a reading with me, the genuine starting point is always this website.
